Arc Bridges

Speakers' Bureau

Arc BRIDGES' Speakers’ Bureau consists of over 60 volunteers who are Arc BRIDGES employees, members of Arc BRIDGES' Board of Directors, or parents of individuals with disabilities.

Representatives from the Bureau will go into the community and provide information to the general public, civic groups, and organizations on the following topics:

Arc BRIDGES, ITS SERVICES, AND INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

Our speakers will travel to your facility to provide information on Arc BRIDGES and the variety of services it provides for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We will also provide information and education on different issues related to individuals with disabilities.  The purpose is to provide education on different issues such as differences in disabilities, how to recognize and treat someone with a disability, services available, how an individual with a disability can overcome obstacles, and how to focus on abilities and not the disability.  There is no charge for this service.  For more information, please call Janice Hoyle at (219) 985-6546.
